In her photography exhibit, "Beyond the Eye", "Sharon Abeles draws the viewer into a pure expanse of shape and shadow, energy and stillness. Sparks of light and color ignite the imagination, stimulating our mind and senses, inviting us Beyond the Eye.

Abstract photographs of crystal and glass are taken from the artist's china cabinet in her dining room. Included in the collection are vases, fruit bowls, plates, wine glasses, decanters, kiddush cups, candy dishes, an ice bucket, salt & pepper shakers, plus an eclectic display of judaica pieces.

These heirlooms and some modern household items, create a visual augmented reality of sentimental inanimate objects.
